Acupuncture

Stimulate Natural Healing

There are 361 acupuncture points in the body, on what are known as meridians. These are the 14 energetic channels in the body that connect all the acupuncture points. Each point is correlated with a variety of bodily functions, and stimulating an "acupoint" with tiny acupuncture needles produces a specific physiological effect on the body.

The shallow insertion of the acupuncture needle redirects blood flow, relaxes surrounding muscles and tissues, and stimulates body energy, or Qi. The nervous system is simultaneously activated, releasing endorphins and norpepenephrine that increase feelings of happiness and alertness. Acupuncture releases blockages within the bodies many systems, allowing for detoxification and healing.
