Chelation Therapy
Remove Toxins and Heavy Metals
Heavy metal toxicity is a common result of modern life. It is the accumulation of heavy metals in the soft tissues in the body, metals like lead, mercury, aluminum or any of the 23 heavy metals that can cause toxicity or poisoning in high amounts. This build up occurs through diet, some medications, inhalation in environments with lead paint or manufacturing, contaminated water or fish, dental fillings, insecticides and more.
Chelation therapy uses IV to deliver ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) into the bloodstream. "Chela" is the modern Latin word for "claw" or "having pincer like claws", used because of EDTA's ability to grab onto heavy metals and minerals and remove them from the body.
